This afternoon we went to Raley's (our grocery store) and found an abundance of AMAZING produce. Everything must be in season right now. We got apples, oranges, bananas, cherries, a lemon, limes, peaches, avocados, celery, carrots, tomatoes, onions, garlic and lettuce.
Last weekend with nothing to do, we decided to check out the Dixon May Fair. With headliners like Jessica Simpson and Chris Isaac, we thought it would be similar to the Freeborn County Fair, but we were wrong. This gross piercing stand was the highlight.
Yesterday, it was 100º out, so we waited until it cooled to 90º and headed up to Land Park to check it out. It was very similar to Como Park in Saint Paul. We walked through the Rock Garden and got some shots of Lucy.Today, to escape the heat, we went to Berkeley for fun and turns out, they had a Jazz festival going on 4th Street.
On the way home we stopped at an In-N-Out Burger for the first time. They are known for the crossed palms out front and inside it was like a trip back to the 50s.
The menu only has Cheeseburgers, Hamburgers, Double-Doubles (double meat and double cheese), French Fries, Shakes and Soda. And the workers wear little paper hats!

Today Janelle and I spent a rainy day in San Francisco visiting some of our favorite shops.
